A brow lift can be used to lift drooping eyebrows and/or lift wrinkled forehead skin. This procedure can be performed alone or combined with other facial plastic surgery procedures, such as a facelift or blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery).
What To Expect During Brow Lift Surgery?
Dr. Bryan Ambro offers a variety of techniques to lift the brows and forehead. A brow lift surgery is generally needed when there is significant drooping. Most patients will undergo an endoscopic brow lift. Dr. Ambro will make a series of small incisions in the hairline and then insert an endoscope (thin tube with a camera) beneath the skin. The endoscope allows Dr. Ambro to adjust the tissue and muscle, smoothing away wrinkles and lifting loose skin.

Alternative To Surgical Brow Lift
There are several alternatives to brow lift surgery. While none will be as impactful as a surgical brow lift for significant drooping and/or sagging of the skin in the forehead region, they can be a temporary solution for those with early signs of aging or mild/moderate facial drooping. Non-surgical alternatives to brow lift may include:
Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Our fractional laser makes a significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead. Laser skin rejuvenation may also be able to make some improvement in the elasticity of skin with some skin tightening benefits. It can also reduce or eliminate the appearance of sunspots, melasma, age spots, and other skin concerns.
Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin®
Botulinum type injectables temporarily disable the muscles in the forehead and eyebrows that can cause you to be perceived as angry or worried.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers like Juvéderm® or Restylane® can be used to restore volume in the eyebrows and forehead region to make skin appear plumper and healthier. Like Botox® and other botulinum injectables, dermal fillers offer temporary improvement.
